However, more important than the type of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. So our priority is to give you a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and able to open up. This will help to create a confidential and trusting relationship so that your therapy is effective and achieves the best outcome.
Our trainees therapists are carefully selected for their maturity, compassion and expertise. Their work is fully supervised so that you can be sure of a high quality counselling service.
Counselling today is a collaborative process between you and your therapist.
Forget the stereotype of a silent, judgemental psychotherapist. Our counsellors will work with you, helping you to open up and being involved with your progress throughout your counselling experience. There are no limits to what can be explored during therapy to make a positive change to your life.
We offer six months of therapy with our trainees at reduced fees. At the end of the six months, there may be an option to extend therapy beyond six months in some cases. Speak to your therapist if you are interested in having therapy for more than six months. Of course, you may end your therapy at any time. Just let your therapist know when you feel ready to stop.

Our counsellors and psychotherapists are trained in several styles of therapy
Some of our clients prefer psychodynamic psychotherapy, which considers the past and how the unconscious may be affecting their current thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Others prefer integrative psychotherapy, where psychodynamic elements are combined with practical approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
Couples counselling often incorporates both psychodynamic and behavioural techniques. For individuals and couples experiencing problems with sex, we also offer psychosexual therapy. This combines talking therapy with practical exercises that clients can do at home.
